Between systems and planetary boundaries: What is the real climate protection potential of timber construction? This question was discussed at the "TUM.wood Block – Adventure Research" as part of the 29th International Wood Construction Conference. The topics ranged from carbon sequestration in forest ecosystems and wood products to applications in the building sector. The focus laid on national and international framework conditions, political strategies and current requirements for life cycle assessment and environmental product declarations.
